Lily Whispers ASMR resurrected her passionate Instagram post from 8 months ago again today; aimed at Ellen DeGeneres, who 'tried' ASMR on her hit US TV show The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2019.
In the clip, Ellen introduces ASMR as an internet trend, stating: 'lets start with Instagram, one of the top trends last year was something called ASMR, it stands for Autonomous, Sensory, something, whatever'.
She then proceeds to show the audience a video of ASMRtist Gentle Whispering, after a few seconds the studio audience starts to laugh in the background. The camera then switches to Ellen who we discover is copying Gentle Whispering's hand movements with a mocking expression on her face.
8 months later and Lily Whispers ASMR continues to think that the ASMR community is misunderstood:
