Why do you make ASMR?
ASMR helped me a lot when I struggled with anxiety, and I wanted to do the same for others. Plus, I wanted to make a YouTube channel for years, and when I found ASMR I felt I was well suited to it.
Who is your ASMR inspiration?
The two that inspired me the most to start a channel were GentleWhispering and LilyWhispers.
The last 5 ASMRtists you watched and why?
Soft ASMR, she makes very similar content to mine and I love that.
Peace and Saraity, I love her content and she is genuinely the nicest person.
Cara ASMR, she also makes a lot of simple ASMR videos which give me the most trigger.
GraceV, she makes awesome mouth sounds videos.
RachR ASMR, she also does a lot of whispering with mouth sounds which is one of my favourite triggers.
What is the weirdest/funniest comment you’ve seen in your comments section?
‘You could honestly sit there and whisper that I'm a worthless piece of crap and I would still listen and just doze off’.
What is your favourite trigger to do on camera?
I love doing camera brushing.
What do you dislike about ASMR? What are the challenges?
That so many people think it's weird and don't understand it. Or that they think it's sexual. If they've ever watched a 40-minute video of someone building with Lego's, they'd think differently!
Where do you think ASMR will be in the future?
It's becoming very well known, so I see it helping a lot of people mentally.
Compare your first video to your most recent video. What have you learned? What went wrong/right?
My first video I had no mic, no camera and the lighting was horrible. I have all better equipment now. And I've mostly learned to make the content I want. I know roleplays are the most popular, but I don't feel comfortable making them and if I force myself too much, I will give up.
