Brutally Honest Review of ASMRtistry One Lipstick 💄 The First ASMR Inspired Lipstick

I recently recorded a brutally honest review of the ASMRtistry lipstick.

If you don't know, ASMRtistry One is...

''the world's first ASMR inspired lipstick that gives you a unique, innovative way of triggering those tingles by applying your makeup''.

Don't get me wrong, I think this product is super good quality and it smells divine, BUT, I just don't see how it's going to work in the long term. There's just so much competition in the beauty product market and this lipstick is a whole lot of niche.

Also, I don't actually get tingles from tapping and scratching on objects myself...my tingles are induced by somebody else and this brand is relying on the consumer's self-induced tingle giving.

Their marketing is purely based on ASMR and the sensory experience:

''ASMRtistry One will elevate your daily self-care ritual into a multilayered ASMR experience by appealing to all of your senses''.

Does it give the consumer a 'multilayered ASMR experience' that will 'elevate' their daily beauty routine? Not sure about that.

When I pick up a lippy, I've done the whole relaxing shower, shave and cleanse ritual that tends to be the most relaxing part of getting ready and when it comes to applying lipstick I just pucker-up, put it on, shove it in my bag and go.

On the other hand, the product is great for ASMR content creators because they can make tingly sounds with the packaging, from running their nails slowly down the textured lipstick case to pouring the cute little packet of popping candy (that's tucked away in the gift box) into their mouth to make gorgeous fizzing sounds for their viewers.

Overall, I think this product is super cute, but very, very niche!
